Isn't Everything Poetry?

Every 1st Tuesday of the Month: Next Date 03.12.2019
"Isn't Everything Poetry?" is a monthly event featuring poets, authors and spoken-word performers.
Following the guest performers and a brief intermission the stage will be open for anyone who wishes to share their work.
Doors open at 7.30 pm & admission is free.
The guests in December 2019 are Gorjeoux and Michael Haeflinger. Following the guests the stage will be open for anyone wishing to participate and share their work.

Gorjeoux, a corset wearing, KitKat loving, Ukulele playing, Queer, Non Binary Femme Goddess known for playing around with, rearranging and mashing up pop songs and originals on stages beautiful and queer, exploded into existence in early 2018 …. their previous lives wielded an unflinchingly honest storytelling style gracing stages and spaces all over europe in the form of poetry, photography, interdisciplinary performance and music - dealing with trauma, identity and the excruciating wonder of a return to spoken word, Gorjeoux will drag you through the extatic highs and existential lows of her road towards self acceptance
Originally from the Midwest, Michael Haeflinger is the author of two chapbooks, Love Poem for the Everyday (2011) and The Days Before (2014), both from Dog On A Chain Press. In 2016, he released Let's Don't Be Crazy, a spoken word and music album.
