About the shop

Berlin bookshop Curious Fox was started in 2013 by Órla and David, both from Ireland. They opened the doors of the first location Flughafenstrasse, in Berlin’s Neukölln on November 4th, 2013.
A vibrant programme of events including the monthly “Isn’t Everything Poetry?”, Quiz Night and Bloomsday helped to foster a community of locals and transplanted English speakers around the shop.
Circumstances forced them to relocate and in January 2022, following a brief closure, they re-opened at Lausitzer Platz 17 in the district of Kreuzberg.
